Billiards Club is a real pool table on your phone: balls that slide and roll, cushions that bounce back, pockets with jaws, and spin that changes everything.

Physics like the real thing

• Every shot is worked out from scratch: sliding, rolling, collisions with friction between the balls, cushions and pockets.
• Top spin follows through, back spin draws back, and side spin changes the bounce off a cushion.
• The same shot always gives the same result, so on two phones both players see exactly the same table.

Games

• 8-ball: solids or stripes, then the 8. Fouls, ball in hand, and a called pocket for the 8 if you like.
• 9-ball: always hit the lowest ball first; the 9 wins. Three fouls in a row lose.
• Kids table: big pockets, no fouls, and whoever pots the most wins.
• 30 trick shots and practice challenges, from a straight pot to banks, kicks and combinations, with stars.

Who you play

• The computer: easy, medium or hard. Hard plans its next shot like a real player.
• Two players on the same phone.
• Two phones nearby: the same Wi-Fi, a hotspot or Bluetooth, with no internet. More friends can watch.

Aiming and control

• Drag on the table to aim; the guide shows the ghost ball and where the balls go (short, normal or long).
• Pull the power bar back and let go. A fine-aim wheel for tiny corrections, and a spin picker on the cue ball.

Players and tournaments

• Named players with statistics: games, wins, balls potted, best run and fouls.
• A knockout tournament for 3 to 8 players on one phone, computer players welcome.
