About this app

Trip Cost answers the question behind every shared ride: what did the fuel cost, and how much does everyone send the driver?

Set up your car: petrol 95, diesel, hybrid or electric, its consumption (km per litre or kWh per 100 km) and tank or battery size.
Type a distance, or pick two cities from a built-in distance table (about 30 major Israeli cities and towns, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat).
Round trip in one tap. For an electric car, choose home or public charging.
How many people? The app works out what each person sends the driver – to the agora, or rounded up to a whole shekel so it's easy to type in Bit or PayBox.
Share to WhatsApp: route, km, fuel used, cost and the amount to send – in one message.
Full tank: what it costs to fill an empty tank or charge an empty battery, and the range you get.
A fuel and charging log: amount, price and odometer. The app works out your real consumption (full to full), cost per km, this month's spend and a monthly spend chart – and can update the car's consumption from your real numbers.

Prices: Israel's 95-octane petrol price is regulated and published monthly by the Ministry of Energy. The app includes the maximum self-service price as a default with its month, the Electricity Authority's household tariff, and estimates for diesel and public charging. Wherever a default is used you'll see "Price as of …", with a link to the official gov.il page to check the current price. You can change any price. The app never pulls prices from websites.

No sign-up, no ads, no purchases. Everything stays on your phone. Full Hebrew (right to left) and English, dark mode.
