היום בהיסטוריה הוא חידון יומי קצר על מה שקרה בתאריך הזה לאורך השנים. בכל יום בחצות (שעון ישראל) מחכות חמש שאלות חדשות – אותן שאלות לכולם – על אירועים שקרו בדיוק בתאריך של היום.
- איזה מהאירועים האלה קרה היום? באיזו שנה זה קרה? מה קרה בתאריך הזה בשנה מסוימת?
- סרגל שנים: מזיזים לשנה שנראית לכם נכונה. בול – 100 נקודות, וככל שמתקרבים מקבלים יותר.
- אחרי כל תשובה – הסבר קצר ומעניין, כך שבכל יום לומדים משהו חדש.
- מגוון נושאים: היסטוריה עולמית, מדע והמצאות, ספורט, תרבות, חלל ותולדות ישראל והעם היהודי.

History Today is a short daily quiz about what happened on this calendar date over the years. Every day at midnight (Israel time) there are five new questions – the same for everyone – about events that happened on exactly today's date.
- Which of these events happened today? In which year did it happen? What happened on this date in a given year?
- Year slider: slide to the year you think is right. Spot on scores 100 points, and the closer you are, the more you get.
- After every answer, a short and interesting explanation, so you learn something new every day.
