Accident Kit guides you through the first minutes after a car accident and keeps a record of it. Everything it saves stays on your phone until you choose to share it.

What the app uses, and where it stays

• What you enter (your own details, the other driver's details, witnesses, places, notes) is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. It holds personal details of other people too, so please treat it with care. It is never sent to us.
• Camera / gallery. You take a photo with the camera app or pick one with the system photo picker. A copy is saved only in the app's private folder. It is not added to your gallery and never uploaded.
• Location. Asked for only when you tap "Add my location" on an accident, and only while the app is in use. It is saved with that accident on your phone. There is no background location, and you can remove it.
• Phone calls. The emergency buttons open your phone's dialer. The app itself does not place calls.

What leaves the phone

• Anonymous usage statistics (screens used and simple counters, with a random install ID) help us improve the app. They never include names, numbers, plates, notes, places, locations or photos. You can turn them off in Settings.
• The daily update check asks our website whether a newer version exists.
• Sharing. A report or your details go only to the app you choose, or to whoever scans the QR code you show. The app warns you first that they hold personal details. After that, they are outside the app's control.
• Source links open official pages in your browser only when you tap them.

Android's cloud backup is turned off for this app. A full backup of an iPhone may include the app's files, depending on your settings. The "Copy backup" setting puts your accidents and details on the clipboard as text, only when you tap it.

Deleting your data

Delete an accident to remove it and its photos. Settings → "Delete all data" removes everything. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything it stored.

The app gives general information with its sources. It is not legal advice; ask your insurer or a lawyer about your own case. It gives no first-aid instructions or medical advice.

Children

The app is not directed at children.

ערכת תאונה מלווה אתכם בדקות הראשונות אחרי תאונת דרכים ושומרת תיעוד שלה. כל מה שהיא שומרת נשאר בטלפון, עד שתבחרו לשתף.

• גיבוי: הגיבוי לענן של אנדרואיד כבוי לאפליקציה הזו. גיבוי מלא של אייפון עשוי לכלול את קובצי האפליקציה, לפי ההגדרות שלכם. "העתקת גיבוי" בהגדרות מעתיקה את התאונות והפרטים ללוח כטקסט, רק כשמקישים עליה.
• מחיקה: מחיקת תאונה מסירה אותה ואת התמונות שלה. "מחיקת כל הנתונים" בהגדרות מסירה הכול. הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת הכול.
