Atelier is a drawing and sketching app. Your drawings and reference photos are made and kept on your device.

What the app stores, and where

• Drawings: layers (as pictures), thumbnails, time-lapse frames and drawing names are stored only in the app's private storage on your device.
• Reference photos you take or pick are copied into the same private storage, next to the drawing. They are not saved to your gallery.
• Settings (language, brush settings, recent colours, pose-timer sequences) are stored on your device.
• App PIN (optional): only a salted hash of it is stored, on your device. There is no way to recover a forgotten PIN.

Drawings and photos are never sent to us. The app has no account and no server for drawings. On Android they are also excluded from Google's automatic app backup. On iPhone, a backup of the whole device that you make to iCloud or a computer may include the app's files, like those of other apps.

Camera and pictures

• The camera opens only when you choose "Take a photo" for a reference. On Android the app holds no camera or storage permission: the camera app and the photo picker are system screens, and the app sees only the picture you choose. On iPhone the system asks for camera or photo access the first time.

What leaves the device

• What you share. An exported PNG, JPG, PDF or GIF goes only to the app, person or place you choose in the share sheet.
• Anonymous usage statistics (features used, simple counters such as which brush drew a stroke, and counts of error types, with a random install ID) help us improve the app. They never include drawings, photos or names. You can turn them off in Settings.
• The daily update check (Android) asks our website whether a newer version exists.
• Copy backup in Settings copies your settings as text to the clipboard (not the drawings); where you paste it is up to you.

Deleting your data

Delete a drawing in the gallery. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. Files you already shared are not affected.

Children

The app is not directed at children.

אטלייה היא אפליקציה לציור ולסקיצות. הציורים ותמונות הרפרנס נוצרים ונשמרים במכשיר.

• ציורים: שכבות (כתמונות), תמונות ממוזערות, הקלטת התהליך ושמות הציורים נשמרים רק באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה.
• תמונות רפרנס שצילמתם או בחרתם מועתקות לאותו אחסון פרטי, ליד הציור. הן לא נשמרות בגלריה.
• הגדרות (שפה, מכחולים, צבעים אחרונים, רצפי טיימר) נשמרות במכשיר.
• קוד נעילה (לא חובה): נשמר רק גיבוב מומלח שלו, במכשיר. אין דרך לשחזר קוד שנשכח.
• גיבוי: ציורים ותמונות לא נשלחים אלינו. באנדרואיד הם גם לא נכללים בגיבוי האוטומטי של Google. באייפון, גיבוי של כל המכשיר ל-iCloud או למחשב עשוי לכלול גם את קובצי האפליקציה, כמו של אפליקציות אחרות.
• מצלמה ותמונות: המצלמה נפתחת רק כשבוחרים "צילום" לרפרנס. באנדרואיד אין לאפליקציה הרשאת מצלמה או אחסון: אפליקציית המצלמה ובוחר התמונות הם מסכים של המערכת. באייפון המערכת מבקשת גישה בפעם הראשונה.
• מה יוצא מהמכשיר: מה שאתם משתפים, רק ליעד שבחרתם; סטטיסטיקת שימוש אנונימית (תכונות, מונים פשוטים, ספירת סוגי שגיאות ומזהה התקנה אקראי; בלי ציורים, תמונות או שמות; אפשר לכבות בהגדרות); בדיקת עדכון יומית (אנדרואיד); "העתקת גיבוי" מעתיקה ללוח את ההגדרות בלבד.
• מחיקה: מחיקת ציור בגלריה. הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת הכול. קבצים ששיתפתם לא מושפעים.
• ילדים: האפליקציה לא מיועדת לילדים.
