Privacy Policy — Bedtime Routine

Last updated: 2026-10-30

Bedtime Routine (שגרת ערב / Routine du soir) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

We don't collect anything. Bedtime Routine has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.

Where your data is stored

The routines (the kids' first names and emoji pictures, an optional bedtime and boy/girl/plural setting for the Hebrew voice, each child's evening and morning steps and timer lengths, stars, stickers, the sticker album and the evenings each routine was finished), the sticker-chart reward text and the settings (language, voice, sounds, look, timer, reminder) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app. A grown-up can remove a child with all their data, or start a new sticker chart, at any time in the grown-ups area.

The talking timer

The voice that reads the steps is your phone's own text-to-speech engine, working on the device. The app does not record anything and has no microphone permission. You can turn the voice off in the grown-ups settings.

Internet use

Bedtime Routine works entirely offline. The only time it goes online is the update check. Once a day the app checks for a newer version by asking the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) — the request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (site/Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate, stores no identifiers and no IP address; if the server is unavailable the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address). The check carries no identifiers and nothing about your children or your device. If a newer version exists, the app shows a notice and a grown-up (behind the parental gate) chooses whether to open the download link.

Sharing

The grown-ups area (behind a parental gate) has a "Share the app" button that opens your phone's share sheet with a short text and a link to the app's page. Nothing is shared unless you pick an app and send it yourself.

Permissions

It requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage access.

Children

Bedtime Routine is designed for children and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no links out of the app (except the update download link and the share button, both behind a parental gate) and no chat or social features, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The children's first names and pictures you type in never leave the device. The grown-ups area (routines, kids and settings) is behind a parental gate.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
