Privacy Policy — Cycle Tracker (מעקב מחזור)

Last updated: 2026-11-04 · App: com.magmanet.cycletracker · Developer: Magmanet

English

Cycle Tracker is a private period log. What you enter stays on your phone. We never receive it, and we could not: the app has no account and no server, and it never connects to the internet.

What the app stores, and where

• Your log: period days and flow, and any symptoms, mood and notes you add. Stored only in the app's private storage on your phone, until you delete it.
• Settings: language, theme and reminder settings, stored the same way.
• An optional PIN: only a salted hash of it, in the phone's secure storage (Android Keystore or iOS Keychain).

The log is not encrypted by the app. The PIN keeps people out of the app's screens; it does not encrypt your data. A PIN cannot be recovered. If you forget it, the only way to use the app again is to delete everything in it.

What leaves the phone

Nothing, unless you send it yourself.

• No usage statistics, no analytics, no crash reports, no ads, no tracking.
• No update check. The app does not look for new versions. To look for one, open the app's page yourself.
• The PDF summary goes only to the app and person you choose in the share sheet. Your notes are in it only if you ask.
• The backup file goes only where you save or send it. It is not encrypted: anyone who gets it can read it.

Backups by the phone

• Android: the app is excluded from Android's cloud backup and device-to-device transfer.
• iPhone: if you back up your whole iPhone to iCloud or a computer, that backup can include this app's data. The app has no control over it.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone, and the permission is asked only when you turn one on. A notification shows only the neutral words you chose, under a neutral app name, also on the lock screen. If you type your own words, they are shown as you typed them.

Not contraception, not medical advice

This app is not contraception. Do not use it to avoid or to plan a pregnancy. Its estimates come only from the dates you entered and they can be wrong. It gives no diagnosis and no medical advice, and it is not a medical device. For any medical question, ask a doctor.

Deleting your data

Settings → "Delete everything" removes every date, note, reminder and setting and the PIN from the phone, along with temporary files. It can't be undone. Files you already exported or shared are not in the app, so delete those yourself. Uninstalling also deletes the app's data on the phone.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
