Privacy Policy — Doll House

Doll House is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

We don't collect anything. Doll House has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is removed when you uninstall the app.

The app's Copy backup feature (Settings → Your data) copies your data as text to your clipboard, so you can keep it somewhere you choose. Where you paste it is up to you; the app never uploads it.

Internet use

Doll House works entirely offline. The only time it goes online is the update check. Once a day the app checks for a newer version by asking the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) — the request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (site/Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate, stores no identifiers and no IP address; if the server is unavailable the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address). The check carries no identifiers and nothing about your child or your device. If a newer version exists, the app shows a notice and you choose whether to open the download link. You can turn this off in Settings ("Check for updates automatically").

Permissions

Doll House's only permission is internet access, used just for the daily update check described above. It requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage access.

• The in-game camera (a feature, not a permission): the camera button takes a "photo" of a doll-house room by saving a description of what is in the room inside the app's own storage; the album redraws it from that description. The device camera is never used and no image files are created.

Children

Doll House is designed for children. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no links out of the app (except the update download link, which is behind a parent gate) and no chat or social features, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Settings, starting a house over and backups are behind a parent gate.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
