חדר בריחה ביחד (Escape Together, Évasion à plusieurs) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
We don't collect anything. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The app's settings (language, sounds, the gentle timer, the last room picked), the stars won in each room and the names and emoji avatars typed for "One phone, pass it around" are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area, behind the parent gate) copies these settings and stars as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
"Phones together" connects 2 to 4 phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth", over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections). The phones exchange only what the game needs: the nickname and emoji avatar each player chose, the room and the timer setting, and the puzzle moves (codes typed, tiles lit, plates pressed, hints asked) with the shared game state. Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after the game except each phone's own stars. There is no chat, no free text other than the nickname, no camera, no microphone and no photos.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on (after a screen that explains why), and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
The game works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind the parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("Check for updates automatically").
חדר בריחה ביחד is designed for children aged 7 and up and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no chat and no links out of the app (except the update download link, which is behind a parent gate), and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The settings are behind a parent gate. Nicknames in a nearby game are seen only by the players in the same room.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
