Health Log is a notebook for the measurements you take at home (blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, oxygen saturation) for yourself and your family. Everything it saves stays on your phone.

What the app stores, and where

• People you add (a name and a picture emoji) and their target ranges are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
• Readings you enter (values, date and time, arm, position, time of day for sugar, and an optional note) are stored only on your phone, until you delete them.
• Reminders. Measurement reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. The notification permission is asked only when you add your first reminder or turn reminders on.

None of this is ever sent to us or to anyone else. The app has no account and no server for your data.

What leaves the phone

• Anonymous usage statistics (screens used and simple counters, with a random install ID) help us improve the app. They never include names, readings or any health information. You can turn them off in Settings.
• The daily update check asks our website whether a newer version exists.
• Sharing. If you share the summary for the doctor (as text or PDF), it goes only to the app and person you choose.
• Backup. "Copy backup" in Settings copies your data as text to the clipboard; where you paste it is up to you. It contains health information, so keep it private.

Not medical advice, not a medical device

The app records numbers you type. It does not measure, diagnose or treat anything and is not a medical device. The default ranges are general reference values, not personal targets. Always follow your doctor's advice.

Deleting your data

Delete a reading or a person in the app (a person's readings and reminders are deleted with them). Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored.

Children

The app is not directed at children.
