Home Bills keeps track of your household bills and meter readings. Everything it saves stays on your phone.
What the app stores, and where
- Homes, bills, meter readings and tariffs you enter (names, amounts, periods, due dates, what was paid, meter
numbers, prices with their source and date, and notes) are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
They are not included in Android's automatic backup.
- Photos of bills and meters you add are copied to the app's private storage. The app uses the camera app or the
system photo picker, and sees only the photo you choose.
- Settings (language, currency, reminder days and time, the percentage for prompts) are stored on your phone.
- Notifications. If you turn reminders on, they are scheduled locally on your phone. The notification permission
is asked only when you turn them on.
None of this is ever sent to us or to anyone else. The app has no account and no server for your data. It doesn't
connect to utility accounts, banks or suppliers, and doesn't collect anything from them.
What leaves the phone
- Anonymous usage statistics (screens used and simple counters, with a random install ID) help us improve the
app. They never include bills, amounts, dates, readings, tariffs, home names, notes or photos. You can turn them off
in Settings.
- The daily update check asks our website whether a newer version exists.
- Backup. "Back up to a file" creates a file with your data and photos, and you choose where it goes. The file is
not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private. "Copy backup" copies your data, without photos, to the clipboard as
text; where you paste it is up to you.
- Sharing the app sends a link, through the app and person you choose.
Deleting your data
Delete a bill, reading, tariff or home in the app, or use "Delete all data" in Settings. Uninstalling the app deletes
everything it stored. Backup files you saved elsewhere are yours to delete.
Children
The app is not directed at children.

- מחיקה: מחיקת חשבון, קריאה, תעריף או בית באפליקציה, או "מחיקת כל הנתונים" בהגדרות. הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת הכול.
קובצי גיבוי ששמרתם במקום אחר נשארים באחריותכם.
