מרוץ מבוכים (Maze Race, Course au labyrinthe) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
We don't collect anything. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The app's settings (language, sounds, how to move, the little ones' mode, the chosen character and world, race options) and your progress (stars, best times and gems per journey level, and daily maze times) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. They contain no names, photos or anything about other players. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app, and the grown-ups area can reset the progress.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area, behind the parent gate) copies these settings and progress as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
If a grown-up chooses "Tilt" as the way to move, the app reads the phone's motion sensor (accelerometer) while a maze is on screen, only to roll the character. The readings are used at once and are never stored or sent.
"Race friends nearby" connects phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth", over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections). The phones exchange only what the race needs: the nickname and emoji avatar each player chose, the race options and a random number that builds the same maze on every phone, each player's position in the maze, finish times and points. Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after the game. There is no chat and no free text other than the nickname.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on (after a screen that explains why), and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
The game works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind the parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("Check for updates automatically").
מרוץ מבוכים is designed for children aged 4–12 and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no chat. The only ways out of the app (sharing the app's link, and the update download link) are behind a parent gate. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Nicknames in a nearby race are seen only by the players in the same room.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
