מיני גולף (Mini Golf Party, Mini-golf) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
We don't collect anything. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The app's settings (language, sounds, aim helper, ghost ball), best scores and the shots of each best try (for the ghost ball), the last players' nicknames and emoji, and the holes built in the editor (grid pieces only) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app, and the grown-ups area can reset the progress.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area, behind the parent gate) copies these settings as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
"Phones nearby" connects phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth", over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections). The phones exchange only what the game needs: the nickname and emoji avatar each player chose, the course choice, each shot (aim, power and timing), the results and scores, and — if the host chooses one — a hole built in the editor (grid pieces only, no text). Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after the game except each phone's own best scores (and a shared hole, if a player taps "Save this hole"). There is no chat, no free text other than the nickname, no camera and no photos.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on (after a screen that explains why), and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
The game works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind the parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("Check for updates automatically").
"Share the app" (behind the parent gate) opens your phone's share sheet with a link to the app's page; the app itself sends nothing.
מיני גולף is designed for children aged 5–12 and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no chat and no links out of the app (except the update download link and "Share the app", both behind a parent gate), and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The settings are behind a parent gate. Nicknames in a nearby game are seen only by the players in the same room.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
