Where I Parked saves where you parked your car and helps you find it again. Everything it saves stays on your phone.

What the app uses, and where it stays

• Location (precise). Read only when you tap "I parked here" (to save the spot) and while the parking screen is open (to show the distance and direction to your car). Never in the background. Saved spots are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
• Camera / photos. If you choose to photograph your spot, the photo is saved only in the app's private storage. It is not added to your gallery and never uploaded.
• Notes and parking times you enter are stored only on your phone.
• Compass (motion sensors). Read while the parking screen is open, to point the arrow at your car. Not stored.
• Notifications. Parking meter reminders are scheduled locally on your phone.

What leaves the phone

• Map tiles are downloaded from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data). Like any website, their servers see your IP address and which map area is requested; the app sends no location coordinates of your car or any identifier.
• Anonymous usage statistics (screens used and simple counters, with a random install ID) help us improve the app. They never include locations, notes or photos. You can turn them off in Settings.
• The daily update check asks our website whether a newer version exists.
• Sharing. If you tap "Share", the text (time, note and a map link) goes only to the app you choose.
• Navigation and parking apps. "Walk there" opens your map app with the car's coordinates. "My parking app" opens another installed app without passing any data to it. This app never handles payments.

Deleting your data

Tap "I drove away" to end a parking; delete history items one by one or clear the whole history (photos included). Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored.

Children

The app is not directed at children.

• מיקום: נקרא רק כשמקישים "החניתי כאן" ובזמן שמסך החניה פתוח (מרחק וכיוון לרכב). אף פעם לא ברקע. המקומות נשמרים רק באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה ולא נשלחים אלינו או לאף אחד.
• מצלמה ותמונות: תמונה של מקום החניה נשמרת רק באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה, לא בגלריה, ולא מועלית.
• הערות וזמני חניה נשמרים רק בטלפון. מצפן נקרא בזמן שמסך החניה פתוח ולא נשמר. תזכורות מתוזמנות בטלפון עצמו.
• מה יוצא מהטלפון: אריחי מפה מ-OpenFreeMap (השרת רואה כתובת IP ואזור מפה בלבד); סטטיסטיקת שימוש אנונימית (בלי מיקומים, הערות או תמונות; אפשר לכבות בהגדרות); בדיקת עדכון יומית; שיתוף – רק לאפליקציה שבחרתם.
• ניווט ואפליקציות חניה: "ניווט ברגל" פותח את אפליקציית המפות עם מיקום הרכב. "אפליקציית החניה שלי" פותחת אפליקציה מותקנת בלי להעביר לה נתונים. האפליקציה לא מטפלת בתשלומים.
• מחיקה: "יצאתי מהחניה", מחיקת פריטים מההיסטוריה או ניקוי כולה (כולל תמונות). הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת הכול.
