קרב אצבעות (Finger Party, Duel de doigts) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
We don't collect anything. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The app's settings (language, sounds, age band, quick maths, the party length, the games picked) and the players set up around the phone (an emoji, a colour and whether a seat is a robot; no names) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Scores live only for the party being played and are not kept. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area, behind the parent gate) copies these settings as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
"Each on their own phone" connects phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth" (behind the parent gate), over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections). The phones exchange only what the game needs: the nickname and emoji avatar each player chose, the host's game settings (age band and the list of mini-games), clock-sync timestamps, and each player's points per mini-game. Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after the party. There is no chat, no free text other than the nickname, no camera, no microphone and no photos.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on, and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
The game works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind the parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("Check for updates automatically").
קרב אצבעות is designed for children aged 4–12 and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no chat and no links out of the app except sharing the app's store link and the update download link, both behind a parent gate. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Nicknames in a nearby party are seen only by the players in the same room.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
