Pocket Money (דמי כיס / Argent de poche) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device.
We don't collect anything. Pocket Money has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The ledger (the kids' first names and emoji pictures, the paid chores, chores marked done and approved, weekly allowances, gifts, spending, savings goals and their history) and settings (language, currency, first day of the week and the optional grown-ups PIN) are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app. A grown-up can delete a child, together with all of that child's records, at any time in the grown-ups area.
No real money moves through the app. It does not connect to banks or payment services; amounts are typed in by a parent.
Pocket Money works entirely offline. The only time it goes online is the update check. Once a day the app checks for a newer version by asking the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) — the request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (site/Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate, stores no identifiers and no IP address; if the server is unavailable the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address). The check carries no identifiers and nothing about your children or your device. If a newer version exists, the app shows a notice and a grown-up (behind the parental gate) chooses whether to open the download link.
In the grown-ups area (behind the parental gate or PIN), "Share the app" opens your phone's share sheet with a short text and the app's store link. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app to share with, and the text contains no data from the ledger.
Pocket Money's only permission is internet access, used just for the daily update check described above. It requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts, notifications or storage access.
Pocket Money is designed for children and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no chat or social features, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The children's first names and pictures you type in never leave the device. The grown-ups area (approvals, kids, chores, money and settings), the share button and the update link are behind a parental gate, or a PIN if a grown-up sets one.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
