Rent Tracker keeps your rental contracts, payments, cheques and handover records. Everything it saves stays on your phone.

What the app uses, and where it stays

• What you enter (addresses, names and phone numbers of the parties, contract dates, rent, guarantees, payments, cheque details, meter readings, notes) is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
• Camera / gallery. When you add a contract, room or meter photo, you take it with the camera app or pick it with the system photo picker. A copy is saved only in the app's private folder. It is not added to your gallery and never uploaded.
• Notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. They can show the address on your lock screen, depending on your phone's settings.
• Phone backups. The app opts out of Android's automatic app backup.

What leaves the phone

• Anonymous usage statistics (screens used and fixed feature names, with a random install ID, the app version and basic device information) help us improve the app. They never include addresses, names, phone numbers, amounts, dates, notes or photos. You can turn them off in Settings.
• The daily update check asks our website whether a newer version exists (Android).
• Handover PDF. If you export one, it goes only to the app you choose. It contains personal details: the address, names, phone number, meter readings and photos of the home. The app warns you before every export.
• Backup file. If you tap "Backup file with photos", a zip file with all your data and photos is handed to the app you choose (for example your own cloud drive or email). Keep it private. It is not sent to us.
• Links. The source links open in your browser, on the sites of the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Israeli government.

Deleting your data

Delete a rental to remove it with its photos and reminders. Restoring a backup replaces what is on the phone. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. A PDF or backup you already sent stays wherever you sent it.

שכר דירה שומרת את חוזי השכירות, התשלומים, הצ'קים ותיעוד המסירה. כל מה שהיא שומרת נשאר בטלפון.

• מה שמזינים (כתובות, שמות וטלפונים של הצדדים, תאריכי חוזה, שכר דירה, ערובות, תשלומים, פרטי צ'קים, קריאות מונים, הערות) נשמר רק באחסון הפרטי של האפליקציה ולא נשלח אלינו או לאף אחד.

• מה יוצא מהטלפון: סטטיסטיקת שימוש אנונימית (שמות מסכים ופעולות, בלי כתובות, שמות, טלפונים, סכומים, תאריכים, הערות או תמונות; אפשר לכבות בהגדרות); בדיקת עדכון יומית (באנדרואיד); קובץ PDF של מסירה – רק לאפליקציה שבחרתם, והוא מכיל פרטים אישיים: כתובת, שמות, טלפון, קריאות מונים ותמונות מהדירה, והאפליקציה מזהירה לפני כל ייצוא; קובץ גיבוי – רק למקום שבחרתם (שמרו אותו בפרטיות); קישורי המקורות נפתחים בדפדפן באתרי הלמ"ס וממשלת ישראל.
• מחיקה: מחיקת דירה מוחקת גם את התמונות והתזכורות שלה. הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת הכול. קובץ ששלחתם כבר נשאר היכן ששלחתם אותו.
