Table Talk shows conversation cards for the family table. It works offline and has no account.
What the app stores, and where
- Player names you type, favourite questions, which cards each deck has already dealt, your own decks and
questions, and settings (language, timer, who answers, table mode) are stored only on your device.
Nothing of this is sent to us. On Android it is also excluded from Google's automatic app backup. On iPhone, a backup of
the whole device that you make to iCloud or a computer may include the app's data, like that of other apps.
What leaves the device
- What you share. When you share a question as a picture, or share the app, the picture and text go only to the app,
person or place you choose in the share sheet.
- Anonymous usage statistics (screens and features used, simple counters, and counts of error types, with a random
install ID) help us improve the app. They never include questions, names, favourites or your own decks. You can turn them
off in Settings.
- The daily update check (Android) asks our website whether a newer version exists.
- Copy backup in Settings copies your data as text to the clipboard; where you paste it is up to you.
The app shows no ads, has no purchases, sends no notifications and opens no links of its own.
Deleting your data
Delete names, favourites and your decks in the app; "Start all decks over" clears the dealt cards. Uninstalling the app
deletes everything it stored.
Children
Families play the app with their children. The app collects no personal information from anyone: the only data it sends is
the anonymous statistics described above, which can be turned off.
