מכוניות מרוץ קטנות (Tiny Racers, Petits bolides) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
We don't collect anything. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it collects no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share your data.
The app's settings (language, sounds, controls), the cars from the garage, the cup trophies, the star jar and the tracks drawn in the track builder are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area, behind the parent gate) copies these settings, cars and tracks as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
"Play nearby" connects phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth", over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections). The phones exchange only what the race needs: the nickname and emoji avatar each player chose, each car's look (shape, colours, stickers, number), the track, and the race itself (steering, car positions, laps and results). Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after the race. There is no chat, no free text other than the nickname, no camera and no photos.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on (after a screen that explains why), and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
If a grown-up turns on "Tilt the phone to steer", the app reads the phone's motion sensor during a one-player race to steer the car. The readings are used instantly and never stored or sent anywhere.
The game works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind the parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("Check for updates automatically").
מכוניות מרוץ קטנות is designed for children and their families. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no chat and no links out of the app (except the update download link, which is behind a parent gate), and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The settings are behind a parent gate. Nicknames and cars in a nearby race are seen only by the players in the same room.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
