משחקי פעוטות (Toddler Play, Jeux des tout-petits) is made by Magmanet. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: we collect nothing, and nothing about your child is stored anywhere.
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it sends no usage statistics. We never see, sell or share any data.
Only the grown-up settings are saved, on your device, in the app's private storage: the language of the grown-up screens, sounds on or off, the volume, the helping-hand hint, the play-time limit, whether the welcome screen was seen, and this phone's role in "Play together". Nothing about the child (no name, age, photo, voice or play history) is ever stored. Everything is removed when you uninstall the app.
The Copy backup feature (in the grown-ups area) copies these settings as text to your clipboard; the app never uploads it.
"Play together" connects phones in the same room directly: over the local Wi-Fi network, or, if a grown-up turns on "Also use Bluetooth", over a direct Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Direct link (Google Nearby Connections, Android only). The phones exchange only what the play needs: the nickname and emoji avatar shown in the lobby, each phone's role (little one's screen or grown-up helper), which shared bubble was popped, which fixed surprise the helper sent (for example "bring the giraffe") and the chosen scene. Nothing goes through a server, nothing reaches us, and nothing is kept after playing. There is no chat, no free text other than the lobby nickname, no camera, no microphone and no photos.
Android asks for location permission before Bluetooth discovery on some versions. It is requested only if Bluetooth play is turned on, and the app never reads, stores or sends your location.
The app works without internet. The only time it goes online is the update check: once a day the app asks the Magmanet server (EU, Contabo) whether a newer version exists. The request contains only the app name, its version number and how it was installed (website / Google Play); the server counts checks per app and version in aggregate and stores no identifiers and no IP address. If the server is unavailable, the app downloads the public version file from GitHub Pages instead (GitHub may see your IP address, as with any download). The download button for an update is behind a parent gate. You can turn the check off in the grown-ups area ("More settings").
משחקי פעוטות is designed for children aged 1 to 4, played with a grown-up nearby. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no chat and no links out of the app, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The play area has a toddler lock: the back button does nothing, and the grown-ups area opens only after holding both top corners and answering a multiplication question. The update download link is behind a parent gate too.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at the same address.
