ארץ עירCountry City

Country City is the pen-and-paper game everyone grew up with, now on your phones, for the whole family.

The letter wheel spins and stops on a letter. Everyone writes a word starting with that letter in each category: country, city, animal, plant, boy's name, girl's name, food, job and object. When time is up, see who wrote what!

Ways to play

• With friends: 2–10 phones on the same Wi-Fi (or one phone's hotspot), no internet needed. One phone hosts, the others join.
• Take turns on one phone: players write one after another, and a "pass the phone" screen stops anyone peeking.
• Against the computer: one to three opponents, easy, medium or hard.
• Letter of the day: one letter a day, two minutes, a personal best and a streak.

The classic rules

• An answer only you gave: 10 points. One someone else gave too: 5. The only answer in the category: 15!
• A clock for every round (60, 90 or 120 seconds), or "Stop!" mode: the first to fill everything calls stop and the others get 10 seconds.
• Every answer is checked against a big dictionary: every country, world cities, animals, plants, names, foods, jobs and objects. Capitals, accents and spelling variants are fine.
• A word that isn't in the dictionary? It goes to a vote: everyone votes thumbs up or down on their own phone. On one phone you decide together.

For every age

• An easy set for ages 6–9 with five categories, a short set, or your own categories.
• No hard letters by default (Q, X, Z), and you can add them.
• Big buttons, sounds and haptics, answers side by side with a star for original answers, a podium and confetti.
