Got a letter from the municipality, Bituach Leumi, the Tax Authority, your bank or the execution office and can't work out what they want? "What Does It Say?" explains it in plain language.

Paste the letter text or take a photo, and get:

• A short summary in simple words: who sent it, what it is about and what it means for you.
• What to do and by when: a checklist with the deadlines, and an on-phone reminder two days before.
• The amounts to pay, including the total, interest and linkage.
• Who to contact: phone numbers, star numbers, emails and websites, plus the file and reference numbers to quote.
• A short, polite reply draft, for example asking for a breakdown of a debt or a payment plan.

The app recognises 15 common Israeli letter types (arnona, Bituach Leumi, Tax Authority, bank, execution office, court, lawyer's warning letter, insurance, health fund, school, electricity, water, telecom, parking fines and the Population Authority) and explains what they usually mean and the usual next steps. A glossary explains bureaucratic Hebrew terms such as ikul (lien), hasaga (objection), arar (appeal) and "warning before legal proceedings".

Everything works offline with no sign-up, and your letters are stored only on your phone (delete them any time).

Want an even smarter explanation? If you choose, add your own Anthropic API key in Settings to get an explanation from Claude. The key is stored encrypted on your phone and sent only to Anthropic. The letter text goes directly from your phone to Anthropic, and a photo only if you explicitly tap "Send the image to Claude". Usage is billed to your Anthropic account; we never see your letters.
