Phone Band turns every phone in the room into an instrument – and together you're a band!

Pick an instrument and play

• Drums, bass, piano, xylophone, shaker, whistle and guitar. Every sound is made by the phone itself, no recordings.
• Notes fall towards a glowing line; tap the right pad at the right moment. The timing is forgiving, so small kids succeed too.
• On the shaker you can simply shake the phone!
• Three levels (easy, medium, hard), combos, scores, three stars and a personal best for every song and instrument.

A band of phones

• One phone is the conductor: it picks the song and the level, and everyone picks an instrument on their own phone.
• All phones start at exactly the same moment and play on the same beat, each one its own part.
• Instruments nobody picked are played by the conductor's phone, so the song always sounds full.
• At the end: a score for each player and one for the whole band. Again? Tap and play once more.
• Works on one Wi-Fi network or a hotspot, no internet. Joining with a code works too.

Free jam

• Every pad is in a scale that always sounds good, so whatever you play sounds nice.
• Loop recorder: record two bars, they play round and round, and add more layers on top. In a band, the host phone records everyone.
• Three speeds and a metronome.

• 20 songs: 10 centuries-old public-domain tunes (like Frère Jacques, Ode to Joy and Au clair de la lune) and 10 original songs.
• Bot bandmates: when you play alone, bots play the other parts and score points too.
• Duet on one phone: two players face to face, each on their own instrument.
• Hebrew, English and French, dark mode and big buttons for small hands.

Made for kids: no ads, no purchases, no accounts, no chat and no data collection. Phones play together directly on the local network. Settings are behind a grown-ups question.
