קפסולת זמןTime Capsule

Time Capsule is a place to write to your future self, to a child who will grow up, or to a friend, and let it wait for the right day.

What goes inside

• A letter with headings, bold and lists. Every paragraph takes its own direction, so Hebrew and English read correctly side by side.
• Photos from the system photo picker.
• A voice note recorded in the app. The microphone is asked for only when you tap Record.
• Predictions: questions like "Where will I live?" or "What will I do for a living?" with your guess. When the capsule opens, the guess sits next to what really happened.
• Ideas for what to write, in Hebrew and English.

When it opens

• On a date you pick, in 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 years, on a chosen birthday, or on your Hebrew birthday (leap-year Adar and births after sunset included).
• Until then you see only a sealed envelope with a countdown. On the day a notification arrives, and the envelope opens with a gentle animation.

For friends and family

• A capsule for a friend: after sealing, send a sealed file. Your friend opens it in Time Capsule, and it stays sealed until the date. It is a soft lock: the app won't open it early, but the file carries its own key, so it isn't for real secrets.
• A family capsule: each person writes their own part, and it folds away before the next person starts.

After it opens

• A timeline of every opened capsule, with how long it waited.
• Export an opened capsule as a PDF, or share its photos.

Privacy, honestly

• The content is encrypted on the phone (AES-256) with a key kept in the phone's secure storage.
• The date lock is a promise to yourself, not a vault: it trusts the phone's clock.
• The title, names and date on the envelope are not encrypted.
• Back up to a file encrypted with a passphrase you choose. A lost passphrase can't be recovered.
• No account, no server, no ads. Anonymous usage statistics (never content) can be turned off in Settings.
